Sunset Technology Center has been an important part of the process of change for many Hispanics, who after arriving in the United States and having suffered rejection in jobs where they were discriminated against, decided to undertake the search for a better future and found us. Our school opened the door to a world of job opportunities.
With the vision and guidance of our director Alejandro Atilano , many Hispanics have acquired
the technical knowledge that has opened doors in Institutions or allowed them to open their own business , which has led them to transform their lives and that of their families.
We have more than 30 years of preparing and certifying the technicians of the future. Engineer Alejandro Atilano has always been focused on preparing the Hispanic community for a better future upon arriving in the United States and Sunset Technology Center is the roadmap to his vision.

This is a fundamental course for anyone who wants to start a career in photovoltaic (PV) energy and / or understand the ins and outs of generating electricity based on the photoelectric effect.
The FV101 course platform will allow you to continue developing in areas such as design, inspection, installation, maintenance, technical sales, and technical support.
This course will provide the student with an understanding of the fundamental concepts necessary to safely work on battery-based PV systems; These include off-grid (or stand-alone) PV systems and battery-backed grid-connected PV systems. The purpose, applications, and design criteria are studied.

Automotive Air Conditioning
It is a course whose objective is to allow you to carry out electrical and mechanical diagnoses of possible failures of an air system and, in turn, to carry out recharges.

It is ideal to complement knowledge to those who work in air conditioning systems for homes or, for mechanics who want to expand their services.

HVAC Refrigeration
Students attending the HVAC and Refrigeration training program at STC They will be able to complete the program in less than 5 months. Graduates leave school prepared to work as technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of Air Conditioning

What is the duration of your courses?
Residential and Commercial Refrigeration:
It lasts for 18 weeks. Includes educational materials, certificate of completion, training, and universal EPA 608 certification.
Residential and Commercial Electricity:
It lasts 16 weeks: theoretical / practical, certificate of completion.
